General
Scirocco offers a truly hands-free access control system for any type of vehicle access. The system includes
RFID readers at the entrances and exits, and tags that typically are read e.g. through the windshield. The
system can manage all the entrances and exists of a facility. Driver validation is made at a glance, resulting
in free-flowing traffic even during peak periods. The system provides a simple solution that, without
inconvenience, denies access to unauthorized drivers for optimal security in the served facility. The system
can be installed in parallel to any other access system without interference. This makes the product
excellent for retrofitting in existing facilities.
There is no longer a need to position vehicles near a terminal and stretch out, which is especially
appreciated when it is bad weather or during rush hours. Instead, with a Scirocco tag in the windshield, the
access is convenient, quick and truly hands free.
For special security areas, a ‘break-on-removal’ tag is also available. This tag is permanently fastened to the
inside of the windscreen and immediately breaks on any attempt of removal.
