Residental parking

To keep a residential area safe from theft and violence, it is necessary to identify vehicles entering the neighbourhood, without keeping residents in queue to enter the community.  An identification system for convenient and secure vehicle access is needed.

Each resident and owner of a car receives a Scirocco tag to be mounted in a holder inside the windscreen that ensures secure identification of the authorized community members. Readers are integrated with the barrier system, and as the car drives towards a barrier the reader identifies the tag at long distance so that the there is no need to stop.

Residents get a vehicle access control system that provides them with easy, safe and convenient access 24 hours a day. The major difference experienced is how fast the car is identified and authorised to enter the gate  ( what does the difference refer to? Compare with other UHF or with other technology?). The residents also appreciate the ability to enter without having to unlock the car at any point. The community management appreciates the enhanced security and control, which leads to a decreasing numbers of theft and violence.
