With Scirocco readers at all entrance barriers that surround the hospital, a true hands-free system is created that provides fast and convenient access control. The system can preferably work stand-alone with inbuilt databases of all authorised identities. Each vehicle is equipped with a tag inside the windscreen, which validates access as the driver approaches the barrier. A lost tag is easily removed from the database and further improves the security of the system.
