After careful evaluation, including real-environment endurance testing with Scirocco’s products, Höganäs has decided to start replacing its current-use RFID system with Scirocco IRID. The first order concerns identification of about 150 containers in a part of the factory where they are automatically handled all days of the year, 24 hours a day. The order also includes integration with programmable logic controllers and adaptation of the system for plug-and-play with the RFID products that have become obsolete.
